Keeping their money and privacy secure in the digital age is becoming an increasing source of uncertainty and frustration for many people. Fraudsters continue to find more sophisticated and underhanded ways to separate Canadians from their money and private information. We at Lake View Credit Union want to make sure our members are as secure as they can reasonably be against online fraud, and to that end, we are offering a series of Online Fraud Awareness Webinars to help equip them with the tools they need to stay safe online.
During this no cost, one-hour webinar, Lake View Credit Union’s VP, Finance & Centralized Services, Justin LaJeunesse, MBA, will walk you through (i) tips and tricks to avoid falling prey to online fraud, (ii) safe browsing best practices, (iii) how to identify fraudulent links and messages, and (iv) the benefits of security alerts and online monitoring tools.
