I’ve been a member of the Credit Union since 1986, when I got my first place and mortgage. Lake View Credit Union has supported me in many endeavors over the years. I own and lease commercial properties and have a hobby farm in Doe River. This is a well-run, community-oriented organization that I am proud to be part of.

As a lifelong resident of Dawson Creek, I deal with Lake View Credit Union both personally and commercially. With 30 years of real estate experience and 10 years as a board member, I look forward to running for another 3-year term. I am eager to continue contributing my well-established board experience and education to further benefit our community.

Jaron Neufeld Headshot

Jaron Neufeld

My name is Jaron Neufeld. I was born in 1987 and raised in Dawson Creek. I graduated from Dawson Creek South Peace Senior Secondary School in 2005, before moving to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta in the fall of 2005. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2009, I decided to pursue my Chartered Accountant designation at Ernst and Young, joining their audit division in 2010. In January 2011 I moved home with my girlfriend (now wife) beginning my employment at Eclipse LLP (formerly Sander Rose Bone Grindle LLP). I completed my Chartered Accountant designation in December of 2012 and became a partner in the firm on January 1, 2016.

As a Partner at the firm, my focus is overseeing our audit clients, along with supporting our small to mid-sized corporate clients who primarily operate in the oil and gas, agriculture, and logging industries. In addition, I am proud to lead our student recruitment program, and of my involvement with our information technology implementation team. When I am not working, I am spending time with my wife Amanda, and our two boys Jace, and Xavier who keep us running from one activity to another. In addition, I am involved in the community through coaching with South Peace Soccer Association, by being a member of the Dawson Creek Sunrise Rotary club, and as a board member of the CPA Peace Region Chapter board. I also have previously served on the South Peace Soccer Association Board, and the Dawson Creek Sunrise Rotary Club board.

I believe my financial background, business management experience, community involvement, and family values would make me a good candidate for being a director
