I’ve been a member of the Credit Union since 1986, when I got my first place and mortgage. Lake View Credit Union has supported me in many endeavors over the years. I own and lease commercial properties and have a hobby farm in Doe River. This is a well-run, community-oriented organization that I am proud to be part of.
As a lifelong resident of Dawson Creek, I deal with Lake View Credit Union both personally and commercially. With 30 years of real estate experience and 10 years as a board member, I look forward to running for another 3-year term. I am eager to continue contributing my well-established board experience and education to further benefit our community.
A Chartered Professional Accountant for over 20 years, John provides a myriad of accounting, tax and financial advisory services to a wide variety of individuals and businesses in the Peace River Region and beyond.
John also has extensive experience in other small business endeavors as an owner and manager.
John began his tenure as a director with Lake View Credit Union in 2015 and currently serves as the chair of the board. He strongly believes in the Credit Union system and how it operates using the co-operative principles. John appreciates that Lake View Credit Union is our financial institution, which we have a direct say in how it's operated. That can't be said about a charter bank.
In addition to Lake View Credit Union, John’s board experience includes Northern Health, Northern Lights College, Community Futures Peace Liard and various small not-for-profit organizations. He is also a charter member of the Dawson Creek Sunrise Rotary Club, and since its inception in 2000, has served on the executive over many years in various roles.
John is currently a partner with Core Partners CPAs.

He currently serves as the Director of Corporate Services for the Central Coast Regional District. Duncan has been involved in many community initiatives over the years, but he currently serves as the Secretary-Treasurer for the Dawson Creek Society for Community Living, is a Co-Chair of the Innovative Communities Org Foundation and serves Vice President of the South Peace Historical Society.
Duncan is eager to be a voice in the significant conversations facing the Lakeview Credit Union, from navigating compliance to information technology. He is committed to building goodwill, staying positive and empowering Lakeview Credit Union’s membership.
My name is Jaron Neufeld. I was born in 1987 and raised in Dawson Creek. I graduated from Dawson Creek South Peace Senior Secondary School in 2005, before moving to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta in the fall of 2005. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2009, I decided to pursue my Chartered Accountant designation at Ernst and Young, joining their audit division in 2010. In January 2011 I moved home with my girlfriend (now wife) beginning my employment at Eclipse LLP (formerly Sander Rose Bone Grindle LLP). I completed my Chartered Accountant designation in December of 2012 and became a partner in the firm on January 1, 2016.
As a Partner at the firm, my focus is overseeing our audit clients, along with supporting our small to mid-sized corporate clients who primarily operate in the oil and gas, agriculture, and logging industries. In addition, I am proud to lead our student recruitment program, and of my involvement with our information technology implementation team. When I am not working, I am spending time with my wife Amanda, and our two boys Jace, and Xavier who keep us running from one activity to another. In addition, I am involved in the community through coaching with South Peace Soccer Association, by being a member of the Dawson Creek Sunrise Rotary club, and as a board member of the CPA Peace Region Chapter board. I also have previously served on the South Peace Soccer Association Board, and the Dawson Creek Sunrise Rotary Club board.
I believe my financial background, business management experience, community involvement, and family values would make me a good candidate for being a director
