It’s Giving Tree Season at LVCU! At Lake View Credit Union, we’re committed to giving back to our community. Every year, our staff leads fundraising initiatives to support local nonprofits throughout the region. We’re excited to announce our annual fundraising drives for the month of December 2025: Dawson Creek will be raising money and collecting donation items for St. Marks Food Bank. Chetwynd will be raising funds for the Tansi Food Bank and Tumbler Ridge will be raising funds for Tumbler Ridge Search and Rescue. Please help spread the word, and if you’re able to, consider popping in branch to drop off a donation. The organizations have a significant impact in our region, and we’d love your help in showing them our support this holiday season.

Please find our holiday schedule attached for both Dawson Creek and Chetwynd, and Tumbler Ridge branches. We wish you and yours all the best this Christmas and look forward to helping make 2026 a great year.

Mutual funds 101

Simply put, a mutual fund is a financial product that individuals can buy into alongside other investors. The pooled money is then invested in securities like stocks, money market funds, bonds, real estate funds and other assets.
